The Sensation of Hypnosis:What Hypnotherapy Feels Like

Into the Mind's Eye: Exploring the Sensation of Hypnosis

What does hypnosis feel like?  Laura Kaspar and Eileen McDowell "The Kaspar Twins" get this question weekly!

Most people are quite fearful when considering hypnosis. Often the misconceptions that their minds will be “hacked” and that they are unaware while being hypnotized creates unnecessary anxiety. The truth is, there is no such thing as a “hypnotized feeling.” We have coined hypnotherapy as HypnoMeditation because that is exactly what it feels like; a deep relaxing meditation session. Everyone is unique, so we all experience hypnosis in our own special way but by no means is there discomfort or lack of consciousness and control.

However, there are feelings commonly associated with the state of hypnosis. For example, the experience is deeply relaxing and the entire body will feel at ease and heavy, sinking deeply into the chair. Some feel very light and weightless. Some clients appear to be sound asleep, although they are actually fully conscious. They can hear everything and their senses are more alert than usual. The only way to know how you will feel is to experience it for yourself!  Here is a FREE sleep hypnosis you can try out on our YouTube Channel HypnoLife  Please support us by subscribing!!  Thanks so much!
